- Resident contractors must renew their license each year by April 30th and pay on total gross income for all work done
- Non-resident contractors must pay per job and are able to work on each licensed job until complete without regard to the normal licensing period.
- All out-of-city contractors are required to have a City of Easley business license if performing work within the city limits. These contractors are not license on an annual basis, they are licensed on a "per job" basis. A license issued for a job for a certain location would not be valid if the contractor moves to another location.
- Any sub-contractor working for a general contractor must also obtain a business license basedon their contract amount.
